The Evolution of Sidecar Engineering

After 2 generations of sidecar enduro racing, with countless titles throughout the years, we started our journey into sidecar development and manufacturing in 2018, our mission to develop ready to race outfits based on existing motorcycle chassis. Not only giving us a tried and tested base to start, but also allowing us to maintain as much of the OEM components as possible. Ensuring reliability and ease of maintenance.

Not just a one trick Pony

Despite being tailored to Enduro and Trail use, the unique design allows for various adjustments and changes to be made, making it competitive for motocross as well. A few key areas of adjustment being the fork height, with the ability to lower by 25mm, you can fine tune the steering feel and response. With the MK3 version we also added a 25mm spacer to the chair wheel, increasing the track width, helping with all round stability and control.

Superior Cornering Capability

Hundreds of hours of testing and countless revisions have all lead to making the MK3 one of the best handling machines in almost all conditions. Whether it's hard going forestry trails with roots and ruts, or fast-paced hard packed track with soft loamy corners. You can have absolute confidence that you'll be able to tackle every corner with 110%.

Unlike other machines the MK3 also boasts the tightest turning radius, this wasn't achieved by simply removing steering stops, but a combination of unique chassis design and finely tuned wheel geometry.

Exceptional Material Reliability

A chassis comprised of T45 a high-strength, carbon-manganese steel, is widely appreciated for its superb blend of strength, ductility, and fatigue resistance, making it an ideal material for the fabrication of the chassis, highlighting its versatility, offering a robust foundation for these unique vehicles. The tubing's excellent mechanical properties and high strength-to-weight ratio enable the creation of a lightweight yet durable chassis, ensuring safety and performance.

The original bike chassis is seamlessly integrated by stripping back the original cross head and tying in to both the frame and cross head at three points, to compliment this it is further strengthened by replacing the original cross head plating with 45% thicker plate. The strength doesn't stop there, the lower chassis is also cut away, allowing the T45 tube to pass through both the front and rear of the original frame, all this greatly reduces any chance of failure.

Keep Cool Under Pressure

It is no secret that machines like these are pushed beyond their limits. With the use of today's CAD aided fluid dynamics, we have constructed a quad pass radiator that out preforms single and dual pass radiators with half the capacity. Combined with a Mino high flow water pump and Spal fan incorporated into a purpose built rad shroud, you can be sure that no matter how hard you push the machine it will always stay cool. Keeping in line with the OEM style and design, it is all tied together with a set of custom silicone hoses, specially made for the machine.
